Ahoy there, sea spuds!
It's been a while since our last update!
The crew of the S.S. Megachip has been in a tizzy of late - they've been doing lots of tidying, cleaning and preparations...but we're not quite sure in preparation of what! They've asked us to send out invitations to something that's happening on the 11th of May, though, so we're extending it to all of you guys!
Stay tuned for a special announcement on 11th May!
Update about t-shirts: We've begun processing and dispatching the last bunch of orders that were involved in the t-shirt kerfuffle. Please remember to check your spam mail for the shipping notice; it should be titled as from "SFC"!

Ahoy there sea spuds! Buckle in for today's update, we got a buncha things to talk about.
First off, you'll be seeing updates from us slightly less frequently; we won't be updating weekly anymore - fear not, our inbox remains open, so don't hesitate to get in touch with us!
Secondly, we want to send out an apology to everyone whose pledges included t-shirts - the delay in production was completely unforeseen, and we really appreciate everyone's patience while we tried to find a good manufacturer who could create satisfactory samples.
Thirdly, for this week's update, we'd like to share some cool posts from our supporters. If you'd like to share your photos, testimonials, or even feedback, simply use our hashtag (#potatopiratesgame)!

Ahoy there, sea spuds!
This week, we invited the Great Spud Sage, Tzutato, to answer your FAQ's! Here's what he has to say in response to some of your questions.
--
Q: How do I get more potatoes for my ships?
A: You see, game only has one way to get crew. You must use "Potato King" card on other player. This give you two potatoes. Player cannot get more potato from outside game; what you start with is all the crew available. So cannot add more potato from outside source.
--
Q: When there are only 2 players left and one of them has a Potato King card, is it an automatic lose to the opponent, since there is no one else to race to salute?
A: Yes. Potato King no mercy, so you also have no mercy.
--
Q: Can I hijack a ship and send it to battle on the same turn?
A: Depend. In Potato War, we have code of honour. If player hijack ship outside of their turn, player must wait till their turn before attack. If player hijack ship within their turn, is acceptable to send to battle.
--
Q: What do you if you play a switch card and you have more than 3 ships? Do you just draw three cards?
A: Player get nothing, because player fall outside of defined condition on card. If you have 0 ship or more than three ship, it become default - which mean nothing happen.
--
Q: I have a question related to the Print and Play files.
A: That one. You e-mail creator. Tzutato don't know these things; don't like computer much.
--
Q: Can you use one deny card to deny multiple ship attacks or only one ship?
A: Deny card like toilet paper. Only use 1 time for 1 attack. Cannot deny multiple ship or attack.
--
Q: If you loot a Potato King from someone else, do you have to play it, or can you keep it in your hand to play later?
A: If player loot on their own turn, must play immediately. If loot out of turn, keep until turn.
--
Q: When hijacking a ship, can I put a crew on the hijacked ship or should I wait until it's my turn?
A: Hijacker can assign crew to ship. Hijacked player must wait until turn to rearrange their crew because minions all panic and run to nearest ship.
--
Q: Do all pink action cards interrupt eachother? Eg a deny can block a loot. But if player A attempts to loot player B, can player B play a card like Hack/Hijack and resolve it before the loot happens?
A: Pink card will run in order of who play first. Maybe if you lucky you loot the Hack or Hijack. Only Deny can cancel out.
--
Q: Can you put a ship in battle mode even if it has no action/control cards loaded (i.e. to protect it from being hijacked?)
A: Strategy is interesting. But cannot protect you from being attacked. Cannot build attack either.
