Ahoy there, all ye sea spuds!

Some exciting news! We've just heard that Potato King and his entourage are going to be in attendance at the Internationale Spieltage, at Messe Essen in Germany.

You'll be able to play the game, collect some adorable stickers, play with paper dolls, complete the colouring book, and most importantly - give Potato King a big hug!

Look out for him and his human handlers at Stand 8B109!

Ahoy there all ye not-so-scurvy sea spuds!

Its already been a week since our campaign ended. Many of you have asked us about BackerKit surveys and add-ons. Right now we're ensuring everyone's pledges go through without any hiccups before we send out the surveys to minimize any problems with payment. There are still some backers who are facing payment problems. We're planning to get BackerKit surveys to you by next week if we're able to get all these payment issues fixed.

Also, as you've probably guessed from the update title, we're revealing the winner of our Jumbo Potato King Plushie lucky draw!

Help with Translations 

As promised, we're bringing you Print and Play of Potato Pirates, and thanks to this amazing community, we now have about 19 different languages available! However, we still need some help - several lines are still missing translations. The grand list of translations can be accessed by clicking here, and sheets marked with 'red' are the ones that are missing the last few lines we need for a fully comprehensive print and play. We don't want to release incomplete PnP's, so we urge all of you to help with the last few lines that we've missed out!

We'll be doing updates weekly so look out for them! Hopefully the BackerKit surveys will be out by the next update.

Potato King's tribe! 5061 strong!

Quarter of a million dollars! We've amassed a fortune almost as great as that of Potato King himself!

Thank you for your love and support throughout this carbo-loaded odyssey. 

We'll now disembark at Treasure Cove Island to start fulfillment of CARD DECKS WITHOUT PHYSICAL ADD-ONS by December 2017. 

Disclaimer: If you do purchase add-ons, please note that the shipment will be under the second batch which we aim to fulfill by January 2018 or earlier.

Before getting into any of that, here's the grand unveiling of the $250,000 Stretch Goal...

A brand new surprise card! Play this at any time to run an opponent ship's attack on another unsuspecting ship (this card can even be used to attack their own ships!). After running the attack. the cards are discarded as per normal and the ship's control is given back to the rightful owner.

This is similar to the "function call" card suggested to us by a few backers. There are only 2 Hack cards in the deck. This card works on ships in both Anchor and Battle mode.

POTATO KING JUMBO PLUSHIE GIVEAWAY

If you pause the campaign video at 0:21 seconds when the voice over says "family time", on the wall in the background you will see two photos hanging, one of which is a QR code. Scan (remember this not so useful clue?) it with any QR code scanner and you'll be led to the Potato King Jumbo Plushie Giveaway Lucky Draw registration form.

So many of you managed to find the clue! We have over 120 entrants. We're really sorry for everyone who had trouble scanning the QR code. We did send the URL to anyone who wrote us an inbox message telling us correctly where they found the clue. 

Entries have closed and a winner will be announced very soon! Look out for that!

GAMESTART ASIA

Potato Pirates will be exhibiting at Gamestart Asia convention happening this weekend on the 14th and 15th of October at Suntec Convention Hall, Singapore. We don't just have a booth, we have TWO BOOTHS! Come visit and catch a sneak peek of the game and maybe even play a round or two!

What's more? This squishy fella will be there too!

Come meet/cuddle/hug Potato King in all his 50 centimeters of splendor! Many Instagram-worthy photo opportunities. Just don't forget #potatopirates #potatoking

Until we start production, this is the one and only jumbo Potato King IN THE WORLD! What an honor, right?!

PRE-ORDER OPPORTUNITY 

For everyone else, who has missed out on our Kickstarter campaign, we will have a pre-order link up soon. Fulfillment for pre-orders may be delayed up to around March or April 2018 since we already have more than 5,000 orders to ship out.

Pre-orders will not receive the Kickstarter exclusive black cards with gold edges.Curriculum, e-resources, colouring e-book, cut-outs have to be bought separately for all pre-orders. Its not included with the deck. All of those were Kickstarter exclusive perks.
